People fascinate Louisa and seeing them grow, develop and thrive is what gives her energy. She completed her Master’s degree on the Emotional Manipulation used in Teen Dating Violence and her Doctor’s degree on Helping the Support System of people who are/have been in Destructive Romantic Relationships. Before that she lived and worked in different countries, including England (Where she taught Psychology A-levels), France and Germany. Back in South Africa, she worked as a School Counsellor and Teacher at Helpmekaar Kollege for four years, did the practical hours for her Psychology Honours and Counselling affiliation at a Play Therapy Practice and, thereafter, she worked as a counsellor and life coach for a Non-Profit Company. During this time, Louisa has also finished many extra courses relevant to her fields, including a variety of courses on Play Therapy and Strength based Coaching.

After more than a decade of experience in the field, Louisa started Confident 2 Thrive with its unique creative approach to counselling and coaching for people of all ages.
